Our Kaluga Classic Caviar comes from the Kaluga hybrid sturgeon. Kaluga Classic is large in roe size at least 3.0mm in roe diameter ranging in dark colors from black to brown-gray. The taste is buttery and light in salt - 3.3% per 100g. The Kaluga classic is more prevalent than its counterpart special reserve which is usually light in color, which is very rare and hard to achieve.
